I read about mysterious worlds filling my heart with fantasy and deep feelings. But I became a Chemist as I wanted a cure for mankind diseases, without knowing most of them lie in our souls. I worked in Health and Safety trying to create safe work conditions in the workplace. And having my dream family even with a house and a little garden I ended up living abroad,
far away from family and friends, so many
miles away from my comfort zone.
Being an immigrant and my granny’s Alzheimer diagnose made me develop an urge to write. Before these two events I read any book I could reach for, but living far away from home and my granny’s disease create a new and intense desire in me:
to write!
First a blog with my memories about my granny, then children’s tales I read aloud to my kids, a blog regarding my experiences as a mom living in Massachusetts, and finally novels after an online course at “Laboratori de Lletres”. Novels about lives telling lies to the brain but not in the heart
Also I write for local newspapers, short stories and poetry, an audio tales project, tutorials and lectures. That’s who I am, blending the most diverse experiences with happiness and sadness, certainties and doubts, questions that don’t want to be answered and others in need to be formulated.
